Deep Groove Bearings

In the design of a deep groove bearing, both inner and outer rings are manufactured with a radius only slightly exceeding the ball radius. The form, radius, and surface finish of the ball tracks in the deep groove bearing are critical to its overall performance. Because of the deep groove design, the bearing can support high radial loads as well as axial loads. With the versatility of the deep groove bearing, it is used in a wide range of applications, the most common being drive motors.
